As for a computer screen snapshot, it would do no proficient, every bit "nada is happening", so it will just expect like any other Control Panel. Sorry. Thoughts?

Tried both of your suggestions. Both finished with the "everything OK" results. If I Double click (or single click, or right click and left click on open up) on File History Folder, it still does aught.  At present what? This is a Dell laptop and out of warranty, and I have "a lot" of information that I CANNOT lose.  The discovery of file History problem started when I tried to fill-in on a make new Seagate 2TB external backup hard drive.  Any more suggestions please?

Thanks so much for your continued assistance. I just went through all your steps, rebooted, and so went to control console, then tried to open up file history file. The arrow just circled. and so nothing.

Under Users>Mark>Documents>Profile1  there are 10 folders that lead off with FFBDiff0 througFFBDiff9, and so in that location are 520 files with the names starting with Profile1_FFB.inp ending with Profile1_FFB_0341.imp     and that showed up when I got this computer from Dell, and the Dell amanuensis copied the info from the former computer to this one. There are 312 GB of info in these folders and files. I had asked the agent to remove the duplicated info, and he said he did. I don't believe him, and now the Dell warranty has lapsed.  The footling inquiry I have done, has stated that these files are unnecessary, waste infinite, and cause bug with backup. Take yous heard of this before? What are your thoughts?   Would it help or hurt if I deleted the Profile1 files and folders? Or, at present that I have disabled the Microsoft Services, also as stopped all of the task manager startup items, is that also going to hurt my estimator?  I am getting greatly concerned. Please advise, and thank you again for your assistance. Mark
